Is that old t-shirt headed to the rubbish bin?

Stop! Don't waste. Recycle instead. Did you know that you can recycle that t-shirt by changing it into a comforable cushion?

Using a needle, some thread and a pair of scissors, you can sew up t-shirt and change it into a flat cushion. Then you can plump it up with another old t-shirt.

Ready?

Step 1 Turn that old t-shirt inside out.

You want the seams to be hidden from sight. By turning the t-shirt inside out, the seams you sew will be hidden when you invert the t-shirt later.

Step 2 Sew the bottom of the t-shirt shut.

You create the bottom seam of the cushion by sewing right across the middle of your t-shirt parallel to the hem, and back again to make sure that seam is strong. The excess fabric from the middle of the t-shirt to the hem would be used as stuffing once you invert the t-shirt at a later stage.

Step 3 Sew the sleeves to close them up

Sew the sleeves shut from the sides of the t-shirt right up to the shoulder, closing the arm hole completely.

Step 4 Turn that tee the right way round.

Put your hand through the neckline and pull the t-shirt inside out again, to invert it. The excess fabric will stay in the cushion as filling. You should get a rectangular cushion.

Step 5 Sew the neckline and you're done.

Sew that neckline shut with needle and thread.

All done! You now have a comfortable cushion made up of your old tees. You can decorate this new cushion whichever way you want. You can sew sequins, draw on it with a fabric pen, embroider the cushion.. whichever way your creativity takes you.

Now that you are 2 t-shirts short, you might want to buy t-shirts to replace your old t shirts.

You can get a new t-shirt to replace your old ones at http://www.buy-t-shirts.net.

Game film is an invaluable tool when coaching youth football. This article will explain why and give your filmer some tips so the film that you do use, gives you the information you need to improve your youth football team.

First of all film never lies, it tells the truth and never makes mistakes. Unfortunately, much of the information we get from our youth football players is inaccurate, either on purpose to cover up a players mistakes, or everything is happening so quick out on the field the player just forgets or doesn?t know. Youth Football Coaches and spotters are often either just watching the game instead of watching keys or they are keeping a close eye on their son only. These factors often leave a coach with just a partial picture of how his youth football team performed on game day.

Film has dramatically improved my coaching success and is the single biggest logistics coaching tool I use to improve my youth football teams.

Unfortunately, when most youth football coaches do get game film, it is often of little value. The dad or mom you have shooting the game often has the wrong angle on the shot or is just following their son on the play.

Here are some tips that help you get better shots that you can share with your filmer:Use a tripod.

Shoot from the grandstand side that has the down and distance chains facing the camera.

Make sure and start the shot as the players line up on the line of scrimmage. Many filmers shoot the football plays at the snap, which is very difficult for the coach when it?s time review the initial formations and schemes. You can easily fast forward or edit out any extra footage.

Have the focus set such that the entire formation both offense and defense are included in the shot. But make the shot is as tight to that formation as possible.

Set the camera up at least 10 rows up in the bleachers (the higher up the better) and at the midpoint of the stands.

If there are no bleachers, line the camera up on the sidelines at a 45 degree angle or so from the ball and shoot behind your teams offense and behind your teams defense. A good rule of thumb is about 15 yards behind the team and at an unobstructed angle.

Follow the ball.

Verbally announce the down, distance and field position if the shot does not make that readily evident.

Follow the team down the field even in the grandstand if the shot is not in focus from your location in the stands.

I didn?t start getting film of my teams until 2003 and it was not great film. Our filmer was the grandparent of one of my youth football players. Grandpa often followed his grandsons play as any good grandparent would do, but the shots improved as the season wore on.

Of late I?ve hired a local TV cameraman to shoot and edit our games. He has some youth football in his background and does an excellent job at about $120 per game that I pay out of my own pocket. He now knows our offense well enough that he rarely gets those poor shots where he is following a faker and the defense, while on the other side of the field one of our running backs is alone in the endzone for one of those untouched touchdowns.

At the first meeting of the season we explain the value of film to the parents and players, why we do it and have the parents and players sign releases. At seasons end everyone gets a professionally made season DVD that they all love. This saves the parents from having the hassle of filming every game for their own personal keepsake. If you?ve filmed games before, you know watching a youth football game and filming one is two different things, it really isn?t much fun. Since we sell so many DVDs on this website, I can include the season DVDs as part of the players sign up fee and add just $5 to the fee to cover my costs.

The game film serves another very important purpose for the aspiring youth football coach. If your youth football players know you will be reviewing every game in depth and that film NEVER lies, they will often effort better towards whatever responsibility they have and standard you set. Every Monday I review my film observations with the team from prepared notes.

To me film is great, it is an invaluable tool every coach should try his darndest to get. It is especially helpful to the offensive line coach, as the tight formation often making it difficult to determine proper footwork and head placement. For the offensive coordinator, the film is a great tool to help you troubleshoot poorly performing plays, same for the defensive coordinator on his scheme breakdowns.

We also use game film to make weekly determinations of playing time. The film is given about a 70% weighting on playing time decisions for the following week.

On another note, I?m a visual learner like many and very skeptical. Some coaches that sell youth football coaching materials on the internet never show you their teams results or film of their teams. Some in fact have never coached a single down at the youth level. At best, you may get a highlight reel from some. Anyone can put together a string of highlights even from a poor season, they prove very little. The Season DVDs I sell have every offensive drive of the game on them. The 2006 season DVD has every offensive, defensive and special teams snap. You see the good, the bad and the ugly. You see us scoring 3 touchdowns in the first quarter of 9 games is our 2006 season as well as the final snap of our OT playoff game loss. You see us play great, average and poor teams, you see no bad snaps leading to turnovers, nothing is hidden.

Maybe it?s because my wife is from Missouri, the ?Show Me? State, but I want to see stuff working in action before I become a believer. If I?m using someone?s system, putting my entire youth football season in someone elses hands, I want more that just some paper diagrams and theories. Anyone can scribble down some football plays on paper or even write an implementation manual, or develop a highlight reel. I want to see the system consistently blowing teams out on my TV screen in lots of real games and preferably over a number of seasons with different teams, like mine do.

I have had the unique experience of head coaching 14 different teams in Suburban, Inner-City and Rural areas, age 6-8 all the way up to age 13-14 in various leagues with a variety of different rules. I've also founded two different youth football organizations 90 miles apart, it gives me a unique perspective most youth football authors don't have.

Many coaches like to watch full games DVDs, not only as real proof the system works as advertised, but to see the coaching points in action. Many youth football coaches also like to see how we sequence our football plays and how we respond to particular schemes and techniques with different teams. I'm with you, that's what I would want if I was looking to buy a system and that's why we have the full game DVDs available for your review.

Youth football coaches that sell coaching items should be willing to show others full games or seasons to prove their theories and systems work. Seeing is believing and I want to see it in action for my money.

People like scuba diving for many reasons. Most want to look for interesting marine plants and animals deep in the water. Some do scuba diving for commercial, scientific, and military purposes. Scuba diving gear permits the divers to stay underwater for long periods of time. The word “scuba” is a short form for “self contained underwater breathing apparatus.”

The diving activity is secure as long as you have the best scuba diving gear, and you have the proper training to operate the equipment. Owning a quality gear needs a considerable investment. But high-quality gear need not be very pricey. Sometimes, the best scuba diving gear can be bought at considerable discounted rates. You can expect quality equipment to last for years. The best equipment can guarantee your safety as well.

Generally, all scuba divers wear and use the same type of diving gear. But some divers in colder areas append extra equipment as well. A typical scuba diving gear package contains pieces such as fins, a mask, gauges, a tank, and a watch and compass. Depending on the temperature of water a wet or dry suit, a hood and gloves are also worn. The tank kept on the diver's back provides the oxygen to the diver's mask for intake when he/she is in the water. Depth and pressure gauges help the divers get information about their locations and condition.

Before purchasing the best scuba diving gear, you will need to do some research on the different brands and quality. This helps you save hundreds of dollars on scuba equipment and determine the type that suits you best

Owning the best scuba gear is a simple and easy process. There are plenty of places to go to purchase quality gear. You can buy them from the dive shops, Internet, or classified advertisements. Dive shops are the best places where you can test the gear before purchasing. It is unwise to buy scuba diving equipment which you have not seen.

Foreclosure listings in New Jersey are quickly becoming unmanageable. Due to the rapid increase of foreclosure listings in the State of New Jersey, new legislation is being introduced to check out the loan officer before any more mortgages are being offered. This is due to the predatory practices of certain lenders who will approve loans for people who truly should not qualify. Predatory lending is a definite cause resulting in New Jersey having an overwhelming foreclosure rate.

New Jersey is also suffering from foreclosure woes due to ARM?s (adjustable rate mortgages) now hitting their peak. Many homebuyers took advantage of low introductory interest rates offered with ARM?s as a way to qualify for the mortgage. The rule of thought was to qualify since the interest rate and corresponding payments were low. This would buy the homewoner time to get more financial backing. However, the state of the economy in New Jersey, as well as across the country did not play into the hands of these same homeowners. Now the introductory rate has expired and higher payments are becoming due. These same homeowners are finding themselves not is a financial situation to be able to afford these higher payments.

Don?t misunderstand, many people still can qualify for a mortgage and are in the housing market. This is where a fully detailed foreclosure listing can produce some incredible deals, and in New Jersey these deals are readily available. So, if you are one of the many people in the New Jersey housing market, look to foreclosure listings as a means to find your next real estate investment.

Foreclosure listings are simply an index of properties which the homeowners have defaulted on the loan and the lender has now regained possession of the property. These homes are being sold for the amount of money still owing on the property. Many times the home is being sold for 10% to as much as 50% lower than their market value. The lender allows the home to be sold under market value for several reasons:

1. Lenders are not real estate agents, they truly do not like homes in their possession. If the home is in their possession, they are not earning any money from it.

2. The Lender wants to dispose of the property as quickly as possible, so they are willing to sell it for what remains ?owing? on the property.

3. Lenders do not want to care for maintenance and other homeowner issues for the foreclosure properties.

Properties found on foreclosure listings can save you quite a bit of cash and reward you with instant equity. Find your New Jersey foreclosure listing, and save time and potentially thousands of dollars today!

The best way to get a new team out of starting gate is to pull everyone in one room for a few days to carve out goals, hammer out differences, develop team norms, and agree on deliverables, schedules and roles. Investing in this process allows a team to get through the ?storming? phase quickly.

In today?s global organizations, however, most teams don?t have the luxury of face-to-face bonding time. Team members tend to work across countries, time zones and organizations. They must rely on remote interactions, both synchronous and asynchronous, to mobilize the team and get everyone and moving in the right direction.

Virtual teams that invest time and energy up front in creating explicit operating principles and team norms stand a far better chance of moving forward more quickly than teams that omit this critical step. This article focuses on a few crucial areas that remote global teams most need to pay attention to when articulating their operating principles.

? Selecting the right people.
In the formation of an intercultural remote team, the selection of individuals is critical. Establish a list of needed characteristics for team members and screen all proposed members with care. For example, ideal team members have a tolerance for cultural differences that affect work patterns. They are also flexible with respect to work hours in remote communications.

? Setting realistic expectations.
Think about the areas in which unrealistic expectations are most likely to trip up the team, such as deliverables, schedules, resources and support required. As a team, clarify mutual expectations and validate that whether they are realistic. Create a means by which members can reset expectations when needed. Remember that some cultures are more conservative when setting expectations and need to consider the big picture first. Other cultures tend to be overly ambitious in their promises and need frequently reality-checks by others to ensure they?re really able to deliver.

? Establishing a ?safe? environment.
The online environment offers the opportunity for people to raise issues, ask questions, offer opinions or contribute new ideas without inhibition. By establishing a culture where everyone feels encouraged to contribute openly, the team leader can tap into a rich diversity of ideas.

? Handling conflict.
Consider what type of conflicts are likely to arise, particularly those that may be most difficult to handle remotely. For example, what if one member consistently fails to fulfill commitments? Or what if vital information is not shared openly with all? Agree as a team how certain conflicts will be handled, who will be involved, and what communication method will be used. Make sure to reflect the cultural make-up of the team when thinking through your choices. Some cultures are more comfortable being direct and assertive while others place greater value over group harmony than speed of execution.

? Team communications.
Establishing norms for the communication process up front will prevent misunderstandings and speed up progress. Take the time to answer questions such as: Does every team member need to attend every meeting? If not, what are the exceptions? What type of information do we place in our shared workplace, vs. sending via email? What is the not-to-exceed response time to emails when action is requested? Who outside the team needs what kind of information, by when?

? Time zones.
When working in a synchronous mode (Instant Message, telephone, video conference), some remote team members are forced to work at awkward times. Agree as a team when same-time meetings are necessary, and consider rotating the times to share the burden of working during normal sleep time. Consider which work can be done asynchronously (e.g. via email or a shared workplace) to allow all team members to work at the most convenient times.

? Making decisions.
Decision rights need to be discussed so there are no surprises. Once the lines of authority have been established, all team members need to remain compliant or people may start playing political games, which will quickly undermine trust. Intercultural teams must accommodate the various negotiating styles of the various members. For example, many western cultures call for ?first, best offer? tactics while some eastern cultures include some expected dickering. Since many virtual teams have no obvious leader, agreement regarding decision rights is more challenging and more critical.

? Reporting relationships.
Especially with virtual teams, the team reporting structure is rarely static. Team leadership can morph as the nature of tasks changes during the life of the team. All team members need to feel that they are contributing with maximum creativity and energy. It?s often best to allow team members to go where their energy leads them as long as that direction is consistent with overall goals.

? Project scheduling.
When mapping out a project plan and related deliverables, make sure the team understands and honors local customs. For example, different religions have holidays or holy days on different dates. In some countries, especially in Europe, team members will be taking extended vacations in the summer. While some cultures accept working on weekends or during vacation times, many others do not. Make sure that the entire team works from a shared calendar, and agrees to work within the given constraints. Post the calendar in a place where all members have ready access. Encourage team members to block out time well in advance on their electronic calendars.

? Tracking progress.
The team needs to feel a great sense of progress to maintain momentum for the next step. Tracking the progress against sub goals gives the team the opportunity to modify tactics if necessary or to celebrate the successes along the way. Using some type of visual barometer, such as an online dashboard or thermometer is especially helpful for a virtual team. Make sure everyone understands the criteria for reporting. For example, if a dashboard is used, agree on what ?green? really means.

Summary
The use of virtual teams to get work done is becoming the norm rather than the exception. Intercultural teams require enhanced sensitivity to avoid conflict based on differing world views. Organizations that know how to nurture and support these teams have a competitive advantage over organizations that treat all teams the same.

One of the more interesting changes in basketball uniform design in recent years involves the use of lighter-weight, more comfortable fabrics and subsequently, lighter-weight uniform decoration as well.

Not so long ago basketball coaches subscribed to the ?heavier is better? theory when ordering basketball uniforms and lettering/numbering. The typical basketball uniform might have been constructed of heavyweight ?Dazzle? or a similar fabric with heavy screen-printed plastisol inks or even sewn-on tackletwill letters and numbers. It was thought that the only way to ensure longevity was to use the heaviest, most durable fabrics and graphics available.

With the 21st century comes the advent of lighter-weight materials as well as a new, state of the art decoration method called sublimation. There are now a variety of breathable, yet durable, fabrics available that are designed to ?wick? moisture away from the athlete?s body, which is particularly important in a sport as strenuous as basketball. Benefits of sublimation, a decoration method keeping in line with lighter-weight, durable fabric include:

  • A minimal increase in garment weight as all lettering and numbering can be dyed directly into the fabric
  • A lifespan as long as the material itself
  • An almost unlimited array of graphic options that makes producing an elegant uniform as inexpensive as producing a ?plain? one

Lighter-weight materials and sublimation have dramatically changed the basketball uniform business. Athletes can now have their cake and eat it too by wearing visually stunning uniforms that are lightweight, comfortable and will last as long as the heavyweight ?old-time? uniforms.

Today?s basketball player can now wear a uniform that actually enhances performance rather then detracts from it. Any reputable American uniform manufacturer should be able to offer an array of new basketball fabrics as well as screen-printing, tackletwill and particularly the new sublimation system of imprinting. If you buy from a domestic manufacturer you can now wear a custom-made, attractive yet comfortable uniform that can be produced in a reasonable period of time that will last for years and years.

Cisco Athletic is a top-quality team uniforms and athletic wear manufacturer to thousands of schools, universities, corporations and organizations worldwide. For all major sports, they have custom-made team uniforms, warm-ups, and accessories available, including custom basketball uniforms. Uniforms can be imprinted by sublimation, screen-printing and tackle twill. Visit their website at http://www.ciscoathletic.com or call 1-800-437-1757.

Student loan consolidation is now popular because the rule that federal student loan borrowers holding defaulted student loans are no longer entitled to any deferments or forbearance. Student loan borrowers who just ignore summons for loan repayments will become liable for all fees associated with collecting the federally financed loan.

Most of the guaranty agencies? stringent collection procedures have successfully deterred student loan neglect. One of the supports for this claim is the steady decrease and current all-time low of student loan default rates.

4 Simple Ways That Can Help You To Prevent The Onset Of Student Loan Default

1. Student loan consolidation is a very effective opportunity to consolidate several monthly payments into a single loan.

2. Make sure that you understand your loan options as well as the related responsibilities prior to taking out a student loan.

3. Simply make your payments on time every month.

4. Inform your lender or service provider promptly about any of the possible adjustments that may affect the repayment of your student loan.

The best solution may be student loan consolidation to help avoid the hassle of several monthly loan payments which in many cases can be the cause of default in the first place.

What is student loan consolidation?

When a certain student initially applied for a number of student loans from different providers and organizations, each student loan agency or provider offered distinct interest rates as well as term or period of time for the loan to be paid back. The concept of a student loan consolidation is to grab all the varying student loans and put them all into one single, simple and handy loan.

Then the student will only make one payment each month for all the loans incurred, than several or individual loan payments each month with this, the student will then save time as well as money. With a much lower interest rate plus less checks to write each month, are just a few of the advantages of executing a student loan consolidation.

Why consolidate student loans?

Generally, individuals apply for a student loan consolidation to cut on their payments each month and to save on money for an accumulated period of time. When you do want to drastically lower your payments each month, frequently you can through the extension of your repayment term past the 10-year period standard for a federal student loan. The faster you settle your student loan, the more money you can save.

4 Student Loan Consolidation Features and Benefits

1. Lower payments every month.

2. Have simple and convenient loan payments.

3. Have fixed interest rates. With certain federal student consolidation loans, one may have a permanent fixed rate on a student loan. Check online to have an estimate and calculate the interest rate on the best student loan consolidation that will be based on the current rates.

4. Payment period can be extended. However, keep in mind this will result in paying more or additional interest for that accumulated time of your student loan consolidation if you extend the loan period. This is an option if your debt has become too much to pay each month.

Student loan consolidation can help you put attention on earning money and education rather than dealing with several monthly student loan payments.

Student loan consolidation can have many benefits for the career minded student. With the prices of things going through the roof, going to college can be very costly. Many students don?t have thousands of dollars to pay their way through college.

This is why many college students use student loans to get themselves through college. When it comes time to pay back their student loans, it can be a real burden and a distraction from their career.

Before you sign up on the dotted line, you should know how to get the best student loan consolidation rate and plan for your financial needs. If you are tired of too many bills and monthly due dates, it just might be time to find the best student loan consolidation rate and plan that you can qualify for.

What Is The Idea Behind Student Loan Consolidation?

When a student first applied for several student loans from several different agencies and student loan providers, they each gave a different interest rate and term for paying back the loans. The idea of student loan consolidation, is to take all the different student loans and put them into one easy convenient loan. You then only have to make one monthly loan payment every month, instead of several loan payments every month over time. This saves the student both time and money. Having a lower interest rate and less checks to write every month are a couple of advantages of doing a student loan consolidation.

Credit Check Before You Get Student Loan Consolidation Rates And Payment Plans

The most obvious way to get the best student loan consolidation rates and payments, is by having great credit. It?s easy to get great student loan consolidation plans with a credit score, also known as FICO, over 660. But, there are several ways to get the best student loan consolidation rates and payment plans.

You can do a simple online search on FICO and credit scores to find the information you need to check out your credit score. Knowing your credit information should be your first step to getting the best student loan consolidation rates. With knowledge, you will get the best student loan consolidation rates for your financial and credit situation.

Student loan consolidation rates and plans can vary from person to person. The loan rates offered will be based on your financial situation and credit. With a FICO credit score under 600, it can be a challenge to get a good student loan consolidation rate and plan in most cases.

7 Aspects To Consider With Student Loan Consolidation Plans

1. Lower Monthly Payments. Depending on your student loan situation and the type of lender you choose, you may be able to lower your monthly payments by up to 50%

2. Having Simple Loan Payments. By consolidating your student loans, you only have one loan payment per month and one check to write. This is very beneficial if you are writing several checks every month to multiple lenders.

3. Having Fixed Interest Rates. With some federal consolidation loans you can have a fixed rate for the life of your student loan. It?s best to do research to see what the best interest rates and term you are eligible for. You can check online to calculate the interest rate on a new student consolidation loan based on the rates of your current student loans. You can then round up to the nearest 1/8th of a percent of the weighted average of the interest rates on your eligible student loans.

4. Extending Your Payment Period. You may have a lot of student loan debt. With federal consolidation loans you may be able to extend the payment term up to 30 years. It?s a good idea to realize you will end up paying more interest over the life of your student loan consolidation. The idea is to get some leverage until your career takes off. You can focus on making money instead of several monthly loan payments.

5. In School Consolidation Programs. While still in school, eligible students can lock in a low rate. This would put you into repayment status, but since you are still in school, you are automatically put into deferment. The drawback of consolidating your loans while in school, is that you lose your 6 month grace period. The solution to this would be to request forbearance for up to 1 year on your student loan consolidation. Here again you can do some research and get more information online.

6. Lower Interest Rate. Student loan consolidation can save you thousands of dollars. You may be using credit cards with 10% to 28% interest trying to keep up with your bills. This can cost you thousands of dollars when you pay the minimum monthly payments on high interest credit card debt. Having a student loan consolidation may be your best option if you can get lower interest rates when consolidating your student loans.

7. New Interest Rates. With a new student loan consolidation, you may be able to get a much better interest rate. Interest rates are now at an all time low. You may have been paying on debt you built up from several years ago, at high interest rates. Things change over time in the financial industry.

  • Before successfully crossing the ball, the player in a wide position in the attacking third of the field needs to do several things. For example, the first and the most important thing he needs to do is to look up to see where to pass the ball.

The players must keep in mind that if they kick the ball anywhere, it may work occasionally, but that is not the right approach. Before successfully crossing the ball, the players must make sure that they have the best chance possible.

The coach must train the players that a cross is nothing. It is just a long distance pass. Therefore, the player must look up to find out where your teammates are. Only then, he should pass the ball.

Again, it is not just that you have to kick the ball the way you like. You need to listen to your coach. Your body is already facing the direction you want to kick and your coach would want your next-to-last touch to angle the ball towards the goal so that as you cross it.

That is something we call perfect kick in soccer. If you do not follow the coach?s words here, you are very much likely to end up in the ball floating high over the end line.

When it comes to Soccer crossing, there are plenty of things to train the players in order to make a winning team.
