?The human species, according to the best theory I can form of it, is composed of two distinct races, the men who borrow, and the men who lend??- Charles Lamb

?And in the case of a student in need of financial assistance, Federal Student Loan programs and Private Loan programs will alleviate his monetary dilemma by acting as the ?lender?, handing money to the said ?borrower? in the form of student loans.

A Practical Guide to Using Horseshoe Studs

Horseshoe Studs, Caulks or Calks are metal devices that are screwed or driven into the bottom of your horse's shoes. By protruding from the bottom of the shoe, they can help to provide traction over muddy or deep footing, such as sand, and help your horse jump more confidently.

Before using studs, holes are “tapped,” or drilled, into both heels, and sometimes the toes, of the horse's shoe. Obviously the size of the hole must accommodate the stud and generally in the US, farriers will tap a hole that supports a 3/8″ diameter stud. The Importance of Fine Arts in the Classroom

Fine Arts is defined in the Encarta Dictionary as being, ?any art form, for example, painting, sculpture, architecture, drawing, or engraving, that is considered to have purely aesthetic value? (Encarta, 2004). Though this definition is used in relationship with the arts in the regular world, in regards to teaching, fine arts is defined as a subject beneficial, not essential, to the learning process and is often phased out because of lack of time, little learning potential, and no money. Fine arts is simply seen as painting and drawing, not a subject studied by an academic scholar. Writer Victoria Jacobs explains, ?Arts in elementary schools have often been separated from the core curriculum and instead, offered as enrichment activities that are considered beneficial but not essential? (Jacobs, 1999, p. 2).
